The check-in process takes place through the following steps: from Email that you are checking and then try to connect to that.
I did not really have doubts that they recorded all this - because they could, and because the data from these sessions do not create such a big data file for each and every buyer/seller what Amazon could not handle easily - that was always my point - but now finally I see the PROOF for a case, that is not even a financial transaction, just a simple report. Email lookup, also known as either Email checker or Email verifier, is a very fast, highly accurate and free lookup tool that allows you, through the verification process in stages to determine the existence of email. It is bad enough that sometimes we have to create cases for lost/misplaced FBA shipments. While VPNs can offer an additional layer of security, they are not foolproof since Amazon can detect an IP address from a VPN. Like I need a case for each and every one.
I am not a frequent reporter and when I reported an awful catalog page about a year ago, they only sent over the Message, not the entire notarized birth certificate and more, before Seller Support created a case for that ASIN/Page also - so that is one of the reasons why I am not reporting too many catalog pages too often. I was just surprised that Customer Support sent over this information to Seller Support in a Script so that I could see it too.
Heck, they even connected my spare buyer account with all this (which has a different email address but I am still not hiding my identity too much there either) … Of course I was fully aware that the buyer side and the seller side of my accounts were connected, even more so because on this one I am using the exact same email address for log-in. I am glad that you know what I think LOL … Looks like an ugly little Script but shows all the information what was recorded, it is indeed hard to find the Subject and the Content of my Report - but not impossible. When I create a case from the Seller side of my account, I can only view my Message to Seller Support, but this was apparently forwarded to Seller Support with the entire Session Script …
Fortunately the suspension was lifted shortly afterwards.īut I looked at the case and it turns out, that they RECORDED NOT ONLY MY IP ADDRESS, BUT ALSO LOTS OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPUTER I WAS USING TO SUBMIT THAT REPORT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE.Īpparently only the Operating System, the Browser, the hardware info only states that it’s a Mac …īut there is quite some information to use and compare if sellers log into each others accounts from friendly computers. A Seller Support person sent me a longish robotic response telling me to report via the contact-us link, which I am not going to do since I saw the other day in a thread that a poster-seller got a suspension notice when he tried to take down a Disney DVD counterfeit seller. Does not come in original boxĪ Seller Support case got created for me. She has other New (only used for a while) listings also. Funny thing is, it is a training toilet for toddlers! This new seller lists NEW in Baby category then explains in the comments how badly used the item is. I was logged in on the buyer end of my seller account. I reported a seller to Amazon Customer Service.
